       Sadly the overnight snow on the 4th before Elizabeth’s scheduled visit was to bring the show to its knees. So, during a telephone conversation with Elizabeth at her home in Lancs just after 7.30 a.m. on the morning of the concert we agreed for the safety of the artiste and audience we would have to cancel at the 11th hour.

      This decision was definitely the right one when we discovered the car park at Emneth would have been more suitable for a Torvill and Dean performance!

     The good news it we are looking to arrange a visit as soon as possible so we will still get to enjoy Elizabeth’s show in the not too distant future.
