TIM FLINT Sunday the 6th of February 2011 saw an audience of 96 people treated to a fabulous afternoon in the hands of a true showman. Tim Flint has long been established as one of the country's most popular entertainment organists.

Tim’s own brand of music, humour and presentation is always guaranteed to culminate in a good show and boy was he on form on this occasion.

FLINTASTIC FEBRUARY 2011 Sunday 6th

It was great to have Tim & his family with us at Emneth and we look forward to the next time!  Thanks Tim for a truly Flintastic afternoons show!!!

SIMPLY FLINTASTIC

The afternoon included such brilliant items as the show piece for Brass Band - Bandology,  film themes from John Barry in tribute to his passing, a Theatre Organ medley and even a touch of the North came to Emneth when Tim’s young daughter Amy joined him on stage to give us some traditional clog dancing.

Other items included The Song That I Sing from the TV series We’ll Meet Again,

And some beautiful played standards. After a request for his trad-jazz Muskrat Ramble then cries for more Tim left us with an encore, aptly  “Nobody Does It Like Me”.

Playing the Roland Atelier flagship AT-900c Tim put the instrument through it’s paces throughout the afternoon and right from the outset produced some fabulous sounds and arrangements, the first being a George Shearing and Big Band version of the Irving Berlin classic Cheek to Cheek.
